MMFU delivers focused ultrasound at two scales at once: macro lines that reach the SMAS — the fibrous layer a surgeon tightens in a facelift — and micro lines that work the dermis above it. Treatment is counted in lines rather than shots, and it is commonly paired with a monopolar radiofrequency pass in the same visit so the surface and the deep layers are treated together.
